Vacation Bible School will take place Monday through Friday, August 3-7th, from 6:00-8:30pm at First Baptist Church in Colville.

In a world filled with worry and confusion, kids need to know there is a God who cares for them.
At Emerald Crossing VBS, they’ll journey through Ireland’s lush landscapes, exploring
the powerful words of Psalm 23. They’ll discover the life of the shepherd-king David and will learn
how to cross from worry to peace, from fear to faith, and from uncertainty to a firm foundation
in God’s Word through a relationship with the Good Shepherd.

Beauty and adventure await us each day at Emerald Crossing, where lads and lasses will gather at the Emerald Isle Assembly—a high-energy beginning that includes wacky intros, lively songs, and prayer.
Then they’re off to rotate through five fun sites: Music & Lessons, Games, Snacks, Science & Crafts, and Verses. Finally, everyone heads back to the All-Aboard Assembly for the closing, where there’s more singing and the highly anticipated daily drama.

Parents must come in the building to pick up children or give First Baptist Church written permission for child to walk home.


Medical Release:
This form must be completed before your child can participate in Game Time activities.
I do hereby authorize the treatment by a qualified and licensed medical doctor of the minor listed in the form herein in the event of a medical emergency which, in the opinion of the attending physician, may endanger his or her life, cause disfigurement, physical imparirment or undue discomfort if delayed.
This authority is granted only after a valid effort has been made to reach me. 
This release is completed by my own free will with the sole purpose of authorizing emergency medical treatment for the child listed herein. 

Liabilty Release:
Every activity sponsored by this church is carefully planned and adequately supervised by mature adults. However, even with the best of planning and precaution, unforseen events can occur. By completing this form, the parent or guardian agrees to assume and accept all risks and hazards inherent in church-related social activites. They also agree not to hold this church or its employees or volunteer assistants liable for damages, losses or injuries to the person or property undersigned. The parents or guardians understand that they are signing for the minor listed on this form and the signature is for both a medical and liability release.
